Cashbuild catalogue 2026: the October to November edition

Building a wall, a braai area or a whole house starts with a list, and the Cashbuild catalogue is a decent place to begin it. The edition on AdsSOS is titled simply "Cashbuild Catalogue", runs from 19 October to 22 November 2026 and has four pages. Search habits show how people use it: they type things like cement, tiles, doors and aluminium windows next to the name, then add "kzn" or "gauteng" to find their region. We hold no prices, so read the numbers on the scan and check them again at the counter.

The company also keeps a leaflets page on its own site, where the latest in-store leaflets can be viewed. Our listing does not give a regular start weekday, so go by the printed dates.

Cashbuild specials this week and the VIC rebate

The name Cashbuild suggests cash buyers, and that is how the group describes its core customer. If you buy often, the VIC Loyalty page is the interesting part. It offers a VIC Card for savings, with rebates based on purchases against an agreed structure. Store managers confirm your status and progress each month, and rebate letters follow within three months after a six-month qualifying period. Separate sign-up pages exist for Cashbuild and P&L Hardware.

There is also the Cashbuild Shopper programme, where you give your cell number at the till, opt in by message and get a chance to win airtime plus access to promotions, subject to terms. Capitec Bank advertises 1 percent cash back at Cashbuild for customers paying with a Capitec card, which is a bank offer rather than a Cashbuild one.

Cashbuild trading hours, Sunday and public holidays

Shoppers constantly ask "does Cashbuild open on Sundays" and "when does Cashbuild close on Saturday". The official FAQ we read does not publish store hours, and it refers to "office hours" for phone support without times. What it does state is about deliveries: they run Monday to Saturday, with none on Sundays or public holidays unless the company says otherwise. Pick your branch in the store selector or phone it to confirm opening times, particularly around long weekends.

Quotes, payment cards and layby at Cashbuild

Does Cashbuild give credit? The FAQ is plain: the company does not manage loan or credit applications, though Capitec may offer a discounted home-improvement interest rate to its own clients, with a quote no older than 30 days. Instead Cashbuild offers a Group Payment Card, opened in store, to set money aside for a future project, and lay-byes run through that facility.

For quotes, you can use the online Request a Quote form, SMS "Cashbuild" to 43278, email the online team with your delivery address and requirements, or walk into a store. Stores normally reply within 24 hours. Online orders accept Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, Google Pay and Apple Pay. The FAQ does not mention Payflex or Pay Just Now, although people search for both, so ask in store before relying on them.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Stock ships from the nearest store and usually arrives within two to five working days, Monday to Saturday. Bricks, blocks, roof tiles and cement carry handling fees, and the company warns that timing for bulk items cannot always be guaranteed. If a delivery arrives damaged, refuse it, note the damaged quantity on both invoice copies and send it back with the vehicle.

On refunds, the FAQ says they follow the group policy and can take up to 10 working days to reflect. With no receipt, a refund is considered within three months if the item is unused, in original packaging and sellable, and you bring the approximate date, amount spent and the card used. Online orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed.

Who Cashbuild is

The site calls Cashbuild Southern Africa's largest retailer of building materials, and the about-us page lists 318 stores across South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana and Eswatini, with shares listed on the JSE since 1986. The group also trades as Cashbuild Xtra, Cabifit for cabinets and fittings, P&L Hardware (trading since 1982) and Amper Alles. Results reported in September 2026 for the year to June mention the sale of its Malawi subsidiary, nine new stores opened and 11 closed.
