Vons Weekly Ad This Week

Vons weekly ad San Diego, LA or Las Vegas: pick your store first

Vons shoppers tend to search with a city in the query, "vons weekly ad san diego," "los angeles," "las vegas," "fresno," and that's the right instinct. The chain operates in California and Nevada, and the ad you see depends on the store you choose. Our current edition is the Vons Weekly Ad for 10/21 to 10/27, 2026. It started on a Wednesday and runs only 4 pages, so it's a quick read. We also hold the Vons Entertaining Guide, a 40-page booklet for 10/01 to 11/01, which is the one to open if you're planning a party table.

If you're hoping for a "vons weekly ad preview," we can only show what has already been published. The company's own app and site are the first places a new week shows up.

How do Vons for U and gas rewards work?

Vons for U is the free loyalty program, and you can join by creating an account or downloading the Vons app. A few things the company's FAQ spells out:

• 100 points make one reward.
• Gas rewards still exist, and there is also an option where every 100 points converts into $1 off at checkout.
• At the pump, you enter your phone number before you fuel.
• The app lets you clip digital coupons and see personalized deals.

Rates and partner stations have changed over the years, so confirm details in your account before you plan a fill-up around them. Sorting out earning rates is something we leave to the official terms, because older articles quote numbers that no longer match.

Does Vons price match? What about returns?

The suggestion "does vons price match" shows up constantly. What the company does state clearly is its Fresh Guarantee: produce is covered by a money-back promise, and if something isn't fresh enough you can ask for a full refund, either in store (bring the receipt if you have it) or by phone, web or mail.

Online orders have their own rule. For Drive Up and Go or delivery, you can return most items for a refund or account credit by telling the driver or store associate at handoff, or by contacting Vons within seven days. Baby formula, alcohol and tobacco can't be returned once you've accepted them. Return, exchange and price-adjustment terms are set by the retailer and by local consumer law, and can differ between stores and between online and in-store purchases. Keep your receipt and ask at the customer-service desk before you buy.

Vons hours: what the Long Beach store shows

One listing helps illustrate the pattern. The Vons at 600 E Broadway in Long Beach is open 6 AM to 10 PM every day. Its pharmacy keeps shorter hours, 8 to 8 on weekdays (with a midday break from 12:30 to 1) and 9 to 5 on weekends. The same store lists DriveUp and Go pickup, delivery, a Starbucks cafe, Coinstar, Western Union, key copying, flu shots, SNAP EBT and floral and custom cake service. Grab-and-go shoppers will also spot Ready Meals, fried chicken, Rug Doctor rentals and Vons gift cards on that list, plus a 30-minute DriveUp and Go or delivery option for last-minute runs.

Hours vary store to store, and the holiday schedule for Thanksgiving, Christmas and the Fourth of July isn't something we could confirm. People search for it a lot, so check the store page.

Schedule and Save, plus the app

Vons store pages also describe Schedule and Save, a subscription-style option that takes an extra 5 percent off produce, with terms and conditions. We saw no return rules specific to it. Everything else, from clipping coupons to checking points, lives in the Vons Deals and Delivery app.

Who owns Vons?

Charles Von der Ahe opened "Von's Groceteria" in Los Angeles in 1906. The chain grew fast, hit 87 stores by 1928, and in 1966 became the subject of a U.S. Supreme Court antitrust case, United States v. Von's Grocery Co. Safeway bought Vons in April 1997, and Albertsons absorbed Safeway in 2015. Today Vons is a subsidiary of Albertsons Companies, headquartered in Fullerton, California, with 191 locations listed on Wikipedia. Pavilions, the upscale sister banner that started in Garden Grove in 1985, accounts for 26 of those.
