Al Madina Hypermarket offers: reading the Wednesday-to-Tuesday cycle

Among the leaflets we hold for Al Madina Hypermarket, the main issue tends to run from Wednesday to Tuesday, and the five most recent show it clearly. Value Hunt covers 14 to 20 October 2026 over 30 pages. Big Breaking Deals ran 7 to 13 October, also 30 pages. Between them sits a six-page Super 3 Days Deals sheet (11 to 13 October), and earlier came a two-page Friday Deal (2 to 3 October) and a one-page Shop More, Save More Deals for 23 to 26 September. A September issue called Golden Car Carnival ran for a week with 29 pages.

Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Wednesday. The retailer has published no release day that we could find, so that is an observation, nothing more. We do not describe the conditions of any promotion because we hold no price or terms data. All editions sit on the Al Madina Hypermarket offers page, and a country-wide view is on Saudi Arabia offers this week.

Who is behind Al Madina Hypermarket in Saudi Arabia?

Be careful with the name, because Al Madina is common in the Gulf. The group site madinagroup.ae says its retail arm runs Al Madina Hypermarket and Mango Hypermarket, with more than 100 hypermarkets across the UAE, KSA, Bahrain and India. It gives no Saudi store count. A sponsored Arab News article from February 2015 reports that this Dubai-based group announced its first Saudi hypermarket in Riyadh, near Al Eman Hospital between Batha and Islamabad roads, with about 150,000 square feet of sales area, 250 staff (half of them Saudi nationals) and an investment of nearly 50 million riyals. Those are company statements, not audited figures.

We cannot prove from public pages that every leaflet we hold comes from that group's Saudi stores, though the Riyadh link is consistent: a ClicFlyer guide also describes Al Madina as a Saudi hypermarket chain tied to Riyadh, selling groceries, electronics, apparel and home goods with a fresh-food section. The titles of our editions are broad, general-merchandise ones such as a car carnival, which fits that mixed range. If you see a leaflet for a branch in Dubai or Sharjah, it belongs to a different country page.

What shoppers actually search for

Google's suggestions for this store show a clear pattern. People type "al madina hypermarket offers today", "al madina hypermarket offers riyadh", "al madina hypermarket riyadh location" and "al madina hypermarket ksa branches". They also look for "al madina hypermarket delivery", "al madina hypermarket online shopping", "al madina hypermarket app download" and "al madina hypermarket catalogue". Many of these suggestions mix in UAE branches, so add the word Riyadh or KSA when you search, otherwise results may point abroad.

We could not verify an official Saudi delivery service, app, loyalty card or branch list, so we do not claim one. Ask the branch, or look for signage near the tills, before relying on such services. When a leaflet is labelled Friday Deal, remember that in the Kingdom the weekend is Friday-Saturday, and that Friday offers are often short, as the two-day example above shows.

Opening hours and prayer times

The suggestions include "al madina hypermarket opening time" and "al madina supermarket 24 hours", but we found no verified Saudi timetable. A national rule is verifiable: a Federation of Saudi Chambers circular dated 16 July 2021 allows shops to remain open during daily prayers, where previously they had to close for at least half an hour. Individual branch hours remain a matter for the branch.

Returns and consumer rights at Al Madina

We found no store-specific returns page. The Saudi framework is clearer. Gulf News reported in 2018 that the Ministry of Commerce banned the stipulation "goods once sold cannot be taken back or exchanged" in shops, leaflets, advertisements and other commercial publications, and that traders must take back defective or non-compliant goods and refund the customer. For distance purchases, the e-commerce law lets a buyer return an unused product within seven days of the contract, with exceptions such as made-to-order goods. Keep your receipt, and check the use-by date on fresh items at the shelf.

Compare with other hypermarkets

Because Al Madina sells electronics and general goods as well as groceries, compare its leaflet with Lulu offers this week, Hyper Panda weekly offers and Centro offers. The broader hypermarkets offers in Saudi Arabia hub collects the chains in that category. We hold leaflet images only, with no prices.
