Electronics Offers This Week in Saudi Arabia

Five electronics names, five different shops

Saudi electronics retail is not one uniform format, and the weekly offers reflect that. Here we follow five retailers: a bookstore-turned-technology giant, a listed appliance and electronics chain, a family-founded appliance specialist, a home-appliance operator with its own house brand, and a compact Riyadh-based chain. Anyone searching for mobile offers today will see several of these names suggested side by side, which tells you how often shoppers compare them for phones in particular.

Jarir: books first, then everything with a screen

Jarir Bookstore began as a Riyadh bookshop and still sells books and office supplies, alongside mobile phones, smart TVs, computer peripherals and audio-visual equipment. A Tadawul statement reported by Argaam on 6 August 2026 put its network at 68 stores in Saudi Arabia and 79 worldwide, after the Arar opening. Its published terms say goods can be returned within three days and exchanged within seven days with an invoice, with electronics excluded unless defective. Jarir also runs a discount card activated through its app, which takes 24 hours to become active. Search suggestions such as Jarir offers National Day and Jarir working hours Friday show when people reach for its flyer: at sale moments and before a weekend trip.

eXtra and Almanea: the appliance chains

eXtra electronics stores are the retail brand of United Electronics Company, based in Al Khobar and listed on Tadawul. Its company page lists 57 stores in all, 51 of them in Saudi Arabia, and mentions consumer financing launched in 2014, home delivery, installation and extended warranties. Returns are 14 days for website purchases and 7 days for showroom purchases, with the invoice and unused condition required.

Almanea appliance stores started in 1984 in Riyadh as a small shop in the Haraj Bin Qasim area and now says it has more than forty branches across eight cities: Riyadh, Al-Kharj, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa, Jeddah, Mecca and Jazan. It sells electrical appliances, air conditioners and mobile phones, accepts Tamara instalments in store, online and in its app, and promotes the app for its best offers.

Tamkeen and BlackBox: smaller and more specialised

Tamkeen Stores is operated by Tamkeen International Company for Home Appliances and sells a house brand called General Supreme. Its returns are stricter than a typical department store: replacement within seven days, refund within three days, for unused sealed goods with an invoice. Customer service is on 8002444464.

BlackBox electronics was founded in 2001 with its first branch on Al-Olaya in Riyadh, and its branch page lists six: five in Riyadh and one in Khobar. The site organises itself around TVs, air conditioners, mobiles and tablets, large and small appliances and laptops, and advertises bank instalment promotions and free installation on air conditioners. Its terms accept a seven-day return request but state that the lowest price is not fully guaranteed, so do not treat it as a price-match promise.

Reading the returns policies side by side

Returns are where these retailers differ most, and the flyer will never tell you. Jarir excludes working electronics from its return window; eXtra distinguishes between website and showroom buying; Tamkeen offers different periods for replacement and refund; BlackBox takes requests within seven days. For online purchases in general, Saudi e-commerce law lets consumers cancel or return within seven days of receipt if they have not used the goods, with exceptions. If a phone is the purchase, read the specific terms before the offer, not after.

Sale seasons and licensed discounts

The Ministry of Commerce licenses promotional discounts. When it reported licences for the 93rd National Day, Gulf News listed electronics, electrical devices and smartphones among the categories covered and said the printed licences were meant to curb spurious discounts. That makes National Day a natural moment to check electronics flyers. We could not verify any official calendar for White Friday, although searches such as when is White Friday Saudi show people looking for it.

Where this fits on AdsSOS

This site collects the weekly flyers and nothing more: no product pages, no prices. An offer in a scan applies only to the dates and branches printed in it. If you are shopping for the home rather than for a gadget, the Saudi home and garden offers hub covers furniture and housewares retailers, and the Saudi Arabia overview shows every category we follow.
