IKEA Flyer This Week

How long does an IKEA flyer last in Canada?

Longer than a grocery one. The IKEA flyer we hold is a five-page edition valid from 2026-10-09 to 2026-11-13, a stretch of about five weeks, and it began on a Friday. Compare that with the one-week cycle of most Canadian supermarkets and the habit changes: you do not need to check back every Thursday. Look at it once, make a list, and use the weeks to plan. IKEA also ended its famous printed annual catalogue after seventy years, according to Wikipedia, so the flyer is now a much slimmer thing than the old book.

If you are bouncing between furniture banners, our Canadian home and garden flyers page puts them side by side, and the Canada flyer hub covers everything else.

IKEA Canada at a glance

IKEA began in Sweden in 1943, founded by Ingvar Kamprad when he was seventeen, and opened its first Canadian store in 1976. Wikipedia explains that most stores are run by the Ingka Group as a franchisee of Inter IKEA Systems, which owns the brand. On the Canadian store page, IKEA lists sixteen stores in six provinces: seven in Ontario, three in Quebec, two each in Alberta and British Columbia, and one each in Manitoba and Nova Scotia. It also lists twenty pick-up locations and thirteen plan and order points, which are places for one-on-one help with kitchens and wardrobes.

That network explains a lot of the searches we see. People type their city after the word flyer, such as Toronto, Calgary or Halifax, but the flyer itself is national. What changes from place to place is availability and pick-up options.

IKEA return policy in Canada, in plain terms

This is one of the most searched topics, including ikea return policy mattress and ikea return policy no receipt. On its Canadian return page, IKEA says unopened products can be returned within 365 days with proof of purchase, refunded to the original payment method. Opened products, including assembled items, can be returned within 90 days if they are unused and re-saleable, at IKEA's discretion. Food, live plants and as-is items also have a 90-day window and are refunded on an IKEA refund card.

• Mattresses can be exchanged or returned once within 90 days if they are not dirty, marked or damaged. Bed bases, slats and toppers are not covered.
• Without proof of purchase, you get a refund card at the lowest selling price in the last year.
• Cut fabrics and custom countertops are excluded, and gift cards cannot be returned.
• Some stores ask for an appointment, and Express Return lets you register for a QR code valid for 14 days.

IKEA Family: points and member prices

IKEA Family membership is free. The official page says you earn one point for every $5 spent in store and online, plus bonus points for actions like saving a favourites list, and points unlock discounts and free food. Look for blue member signs in store and online. Perks mentioned include free regular coffee or tea (conditions apply), digital receipts, and breakage protection. Trading hours, public-holiday closures and seasonal schedules differ branch by branch and follow local regulation. Before you plan a trip, read the signage on the door or the posting at the branch itself.

IKEA delivery and click and collect

The delivery page lists parcel delivery from $9.99, doorstep from $29 for members and $39 for non-members, curbside from $99 and $109, and in-home delivery from $49 and $59. All options need a minimum order of $29 before taxes and fees. Click and collect on orders over $29 is free for members at a store or pick-up locker, and members pay $5 at external pick-up locations. These are starting prices, so the checkout total is what counts.

Price match, hours and Sunday trading

Search suggestions include ikea price match policy canada. Return windows, refund methods and price-adjustment rules are not identical across stores or channels. Keep your receipt and ask at the customer-service desk before you buy. The store directory says hours sit on each location's page, which is why ikea hours today returns city-specific suggestions.

Who to check IKEA against

IKEA competes with several furniture names. For a sofa or a mattress, look at the The Brick flyer this week and the Leon's weekly flyer. If you are shopping for tools and storage rather than furniture, the Home Depot flyer is a better comparison. A five-week IKEA window gives you time to do exactly that.
