According to Hirsch's own March 2026 anniversary post, the company marked 47 years and said it has 22 branches, plus Samsung concept stores in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng and Samsung and Hisense concept stores in the Cape. The earlier 2025 post cited 19 branches. The Gauteng expansion came in 2002 with the Fourways flagship, and Cape Town followed in 2012. Richard Hirsch is CEO, according to the company's blog. The company calls itself the largest independently owned appliance and electronics business in Southern Africa, which is self-description rather than an independent ranking.
