Currys PC World Leaflet This Week

Currys PC World: still the name on the flyer, now simply Currys

Let us clear up the name first, because it trips up half the people who search for it. The shops that used to carry a red-and-white PC World or Currys PC World sign were relabelled as plain Currys. The change was announced in July 2021 and the signs came down from October of that year, according to Wikipedia and trade press coverage. The leaflet we hold is still titled "Currys PC World - Offers", which is why this page keeps the old name alongside the new one.

Currys is the high-street name for electricals in Britain: washing machines, televisions, laptops, phones, small kitchen appliances. The parent is Currys plc, which used to be called Dixons Carphone, and the head office is in Newark-on-Trent. Wikipedia counts 296 locations in 2025 across the UK and Ireland, so if you are searching for "currys opening hours galway" you are in the wrong country; this page is about the British shops.

The Currys PC World leaflet this week on AdsSOS

The edition we are showing runs from 9 October to 12 November 2026 and has five pages. That is a month rather than a week, so this is not a supermarket-style Monday swap. Start and end dates change with each edition; check the validity line on the catalogue you are reading before you plan a shopping trip. Anyone typing "currys catalogue" will find the current offers scan here, nothing more.

For a spread of other retailers in the same mood, the UK leaflet hub lists everything we hold, and the general merchandise stores group is the nearest shelf on this site to an electricals seller. Argos is the obvious comparison for anyone shopping around; see the Argos leaflet this week.

Does Currys price match? The Price Promise, as far as we can say

This is the question that Google offers up before almost any other: "does currys price match", "currys price match amazon", "currys price match policy". Currys calls it the Price Promise. The official page refused to load for us, so what follows comes from third-party guides, and you should read it as a rough outline, not as the rules. Those guides say Currys will match named UK competitors, with Argos, Asda, John Lewis, Tesco and ao.com listed, and that a claim is generally possible for up to seven days after you buy. Offers tied to a student, NHS or membership status are reported as excluded, as are trade-in deals.

The practical consequence: Amazon does not appear in the list of competitors those guides gave, so do not assume the Amazon query ends happily. Before you stand at the till with a screenshot, read the current terms on the Currys site.

Currys return policy: what the shop offers and what the law says

Several guides put the shop's own change-of-mind window at 30 days, with goods in original packaging and in like-new condition. One of them adds that a fault after 30 days is dealt with by repair or replacement while the order is under a year old. That is the retailer's policy as reported, so check the date on it.

The law sits underneath all of this. GOV.UK says goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose must be refunded, that a fault shown within six months is presumed to have been there at the time of sale, and that shops do not have to take back something you simply changed your mind about, though many do. Online orders are different: you can cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, and the retailer must refund within 14 days of getting them back. One thing worth knowing for a big television or fridge: keep the box and the receipt anyway.

Is Currys open on Sunday? Opening hours and bank holidays

"Is currys open on sunday" and "what time does currys close" are the other two questions people ask in volume. Each branch keeps its own opening times, and municipal rules or holidays can shift them. For exact times, look at the in-store signage or ask the customer-service desk at your branch. What we can say is the legal frame. Under the Sunday Trading Act as summarised by Tendring District Council, shops with more than 280 square metres of sales space in England and Wales may open for six hours on a Sunday and not at all on Easter Sunday or on Christmas Day when it falls on a Sunday. The council page speaks only of England and Wales. Look up your branch before you drive.

Delivery and the online side

Search suggestions include "currys delivery times", "currys delivery charges" and a delivery tracker. Those are live-order questions, and the charges change with the product, so the only reliable answer is the basket page itself. A product you saw on the leaflet may well be available to order for delivery rather than on a shelf near you.

Who owns it and what is on the shelf

Wikipedia traces the name to Henry Curry, who made bicycles in Leicester in 1884, and records that Dixons bought Currys in 1984 but kept the brand separate. Own-label electronics are sold under Logik and Sandstrom. The group reported adjusted pre-tax profit of 191 million pounds for the year to 2 May 2026, and its trading update for the 17 weeks to 29 August 2026 described a strong start to the year.
