The Peninsula reported on 25 June 2026 that it had passed one million members in Qatar, and the Qatar Tribune adds that members receive instant discounts on selected products, reward points, personalised offers and member-only promotions. Search results for the programme's terms page for Qatar state that enrolment needs a name and a Qatari phone number, that points are earned on purchases in physical Lulu stores, that points carry no cash value and can only be used on later purchases at Lulu stores, and that they cannot be transferred. We saw those terms in a search summary because the page itself returned an access error, so read the current text before relying on the details.

Membership benefits, app features and delivery coverage are managed by the retailer and are not uniform everywhere. The retailer's own channels show the current terms for your area. Searches for the Lulu Hypermarket Qatar app are common, and the honest answer is to check the app stores directly.

Opening time today, 24-hour branches and Friday prayer

Opening-hours searches for Lulu in Qatar are heavy, including Ramadan hours. The firm fact is the 24-hour arrangement. On 28 February 2026 The Peninsula reported that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry raised the number of 24-hour outlets from 22 to 33, and that 12 of the 33 were Lulu branches, among them D-Ring Road, Pearl Island and Salwa Road, with the chain saying certain branches would stay open round the clock until further notice. Store opening hours, holiday schedules, and loyalty participation can vary by specific branch location and municipal regulations. Local branch postings and shop-front signage give the schedule that actually applies to you.

Friday is different. Gulf News reports that Ministerial Decision No. 80 of 2025, effective 18 August 2025, requires most outlets to close for 90 minutes from the first call to prayer until prayers conclude, with exemptions for pharmacies, hospitals, hotels, bakeries, fuel stations, telecoms, transport and businesses that run around the clock under a shift system. A Lulu branch on the 24-hour list may therefore fall in the exempt group, but we have no statement that says so, which is why you should phone your branch before a Friday errand.

Return policy at Lulu Qatar

No in-store Lulu Qatar return policy came up in our search. Return windows, refund methods and price-adjustment rules are not identical across stores or channels. Keep your receipt and ask at the customer-service desk before you buy. Qatari law gives a baseline. A ministry circular covered by Gulf Times in 2016 says shops must refund or exchange defective goods, print the policy on the invoice and provide a trial area for clothes. The group behind Lulu and where it is growing

Lulu is run by Lulu Group, whose chairman Yusuffali M A appeared at the loyalty milestone event. The Peninsula said in December 2022 that the Al Dhakhira store near Al Khor was the group's 22nd hypermarket and department store in Qatar, at 7,800 square metres on two levels with 500 parking places and 18 checkouts. It listed fresh food, fashion, home furnishing, toys, a pharmacy, money exchange and a telecoms counter among the facilities. In 2026 the Qatar Tribune reported plans for new projects at Baraha Town, Al Waab and Qetaifan Island and a project worth about QR500 million to be detailed later. The store count today is not given in the sources we opened.
