City Centre Offers This Week

City Centre Kuwait offers: now trading as City Hypermarket

If you still say "City Centre", you are not alone, and the queries show it: Google Suggest for Kuwait offers "city centre kuwait offers today", "city center kuwait promotions today" and "city center hypermarket kuwait offers". The name on the shop front changed, though. Kuwait Times reported in February 2024 that City Centre unveiled a new identity as City Hypermarket. The same report describes a company founded in 1999 with 12 stores, headquarters in Manara Mall in Shuwaikh, a 25,000 square metre Salmiya outlet, a Waitrose and Organic Larder range, and a Qatar branch opened in December 2023. An April 2026 Kuwait Times item adds that City Hypermarket was named the number one supermarket in Kuwait for 2025 in a Service Hero customer satisfaction index.

The household festival and what else is on this page

The current batch is built around one theme. Three volumes of a "House Hold Festival Sale" run from 21 October to 3 November, with three, ten and nine pages. That is a fortnight-long window rather than the usual seven days, so you do not have to hurry. Just before it came two "900 Fils" editions of eight and ten pages ending on 20 October, and a ten-page "Killer deals" edition that closed on 6 October. Catalogue start dates differ between editions, so rely on the validity dates printed on each edition rather than on a fixed weekday.

Fils campaigns and fixed-price formats

A February 2026 report on a new branch at Aswaq Al Qurain describes the chain's signature promotions as the 900 fils offers and a half-one-two-three dinar format. What the formats do mean in practice is that shelf labels may be simple round figures, and the leaflet tends to be grouped by those tiers.

Delivery, app and weekly promotions

An app listing published under the City Centre Commercial Co. name states delivery in all areas of Kuwait, more than 35,000 products and weekly promotions, in Arabic and English. The listing is dated, so check that the current app still carries those features. Return, exchange and price-adjustment terms are set by the retailer and by local consumer law, and can differ between stores and between online and in-store purchases. For a purchase that matters, confirm the terms with the customer-service team first.

Opening hours, 24-hour branches and holidays

"City center kuwait working hours" and "city center kuwait opening time" are suggested queries, but we have no official timetable. One report states that the Aswaq Al Qurain branch, opened on 4 February 2026, trades 24 hours a day. Elsewhere the rules apply: a September 2022 rule reported by the Gulf Daily News requires shops in residential areas to close at midnight, though cooperative central markets and pharmacies are exempt, and the Bank of Scotland trade guide says Friday is the weekly rest day. Treat the 24-hour label as branch-specific.

Returns and the consumer committee

No returns page from the retailer was found. For food and household goods the safest frame is the national one: Consumer Protection Law 39 of 2014, explained by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in a Kuwait Times report, allows replacement or return of a defective product within 14 days, with perishables excluded and the invoice needed. Disputes go to the National Committee for Consumer Protection.

Premium lines and ownership context

In April 2019 the retail trade press reported that City Centre Group would export about 100 Waitrose products to its Kuwait stores, a partnership that explains why British grocery labels appear on its shelves.

Related Kuwait stores to compare

Because City Hypermarket sits in the Kuwait hypermarkets category, the closest comparisons are the Lulu Kuwait offers this week page, the Sultan Center weekly offers and Nesto offers in Kuwait. For co-operative alternatives, see Salmiya Co-Operative Society offers. When a household sale like this one spans several volumes, open all of them, because the pages split the categories and the item you want may sit in volume five rather than volume one. Start at the Kuwait offers hub if you want everything side by side.

A quick look at the City Centre edition on AdsSOS before you leave home helps you plan the trip. Pick the items that matter to you and compare them across two or three editions before deciding. Availability can vary by branch, so a quick question at the customer-service desk is worthwhile.
